The first tournament of the new season is in the books and it was a great one. We had 27 players make it. We saw plenty of big hands, I had quads twice. Bobby N was first out this week when his chip stack got crushed when his full house ran into a better one. We had alot of guys who always seem to be near the top bust out in the bottom half including Tom J, Kevin C, Mat K, Day D and Mike S. The final table was made up of Bob L, Paul V, Christina M, Will M, Scott C, Scott A, Dom D, myself, Derrick S and Gary R. Will M ended up this weeks bubble boy finished sixth. Scott A held on to secure the final paying spot finishing fifth. Dom D nursed a small stack to hang on for fourth place. I managed to get all my money into the middle against Gary while holding a pair of jacks. After some thought he called with Q,10 off and of course caught the 2 out queen on the river to send me to the rail in third place.Derrick was severly out chipped by Gary and was enventually finished off when Gary's pair of tens held up as this weeks winning hand.The next tournament is October 2nd and there will be a huge target on Gary's back. Knocking him out will earn you 5 points, 1 for the knock out, 2 because he is the current points leader and 2 additional because he is the previous weeks winner. Heads up Gary everyone is after you.

The system will automatically offer up your seat to people on the sub list if you haven't responded by Thursday. Don't lose your seat because you didn't bother to respond.
